Today was my first time trying this little Mexican restaurant. The food was fantastic! Semi, my server was great with a smile! She helped order a special À la cart item for me. My tacos we were juicy and my chile relleno came out piping hot. My lunch was perfect

Zarapate 2 is one of those hidden gems that makes you feel like you just stumbled upon something special. It’s a small, no-frills spot with a Mexican soul—warm, inviting, and filled with the sound of good music and the hum of young, hungry faces who know exactly what they came for. The counter setup keeps things casual and easy, and the place is clean, simple, and straight-up fun. But let’s talk about the food because that’s where Zarapate 2 really shines. It’s the kind of authentic, no-shortcuts Mexican cuisine that hits all the right spots. The birria tacos? Unreal. The tortillas are golden, crispy, and soaked in rich consommé, stuffed with perfectly tender, juicy meat and topped with just the right amount of onions and cilantro. And that broth? Deep, savory, and packed with so much flavor you’ll want to drink it straight. Then there are the nachos—an absolute masterpiece. Crunchy chips piled high with melted cheese, seasoned meat, fresh pico, drizzles of crema, and whatever sauce magic they keep in those squeeze bottles. Every bite is a perfect mix of textures and bold, spicy, creamy goodness. And if you’re in the mood for something heartier, their plates of fajitas with rice and beans don’t disappoint. The meats are juicy, the seasoning is spot on, and the whole thing just feels homemade in the best way possible. Zarapate 2 is that perfect balance of authenticity and fun. You come here, grab a bite, vibe to the music, and leave full, happy, and already thinking about what you’re going to order next time.

The location has sketchy people surrounding it. So I held on tight to my purse. I need my coins, okay yall. Anyway, the cashier was so friendly. He suggested the favorites on the menu. The food was good. Im giving a great rating for excellent customer service provided.

The establishment is kinda small but the staff is very friendly and they greet you as soon as you arrive. The food is great. My husband has beef tacos and I had a menudo. OMG !!! It was delicious and very filling….my husband had to help me finish it. I had a craving for tripita tacos, so I ordered 2 and they too were so yummy. What can I say? Definitely coming for more soon!!! Muchas gracias las comida está riquisima!!!!!!

Senora Semi was so sweet! It is my daughter’s 16th birthday and she really loves quesabirria tacos So I had to find a good place before taking her to work. I was so happy to have come across this restaurant. It has a very authentic and clean atmosphere inside. The quesabirria tacos, carne asada fries and fideo was delicious! They even put on a “Happy Birthday” instrumental song and brought her out flan to wish her a Happy Birthday. We will definitely be coming back again!

Probably the best pozole i’ve ever had! Especially with the macho salsa! Miriam was extremely kind, helpful, and very welcoming. Overall, a great experience and I would highly recommend!

This was a great little find, the staff were super friendly and the food matched the service. Prices were fantastic considering the quality and we will definitely come back next time we are in the area. Macho sauce is GOOD but has some heat.
